Instructor: Michael Katz The Yin approach stimulates the meridians and organs in a manner that is similar to acupuncture. It stimulates ligaments, connective tissue, deep tissue, and joints in a way that the more energetic yang types of yoga do not. It is not strenuous and very little strength is involved in doing the poses. Students soften/melt into comfortable poses for five minutes with focuses on the gift of their own breath.
