Registration fees also include:
- Finisher Mugs

Not Dead Yet Bike Ride participants can choose to do the 10, 25 or 60 mile ride. The distance you choose today gives us an idea of how many people to expect for each ride. You can change your choice at any time. All three routes have rolling hills with some challenging terrain, but we’ve avoided many of the most challenging hills in the region.
Run & Walk participants can choose a 5K trail race, 5K walk or 1mile stroll. The 5K race and walk are on Pineland’s unpaved trails. The 1 mile stroll is 95% on paved roads and suitable for strollers and small children on bikes. (We are no longer offering the 10K race.)
5K Trail Race & Walk Course Description - The race and walk course winds through well-maintained cross country trails that twist, turn and roll their way through forests, through fields and past working farmland. The trails are level, wide (12′) and non-technical with no roots or rocks, but very hilly. Although there are no major climbs, the terrain is continuously rolling. The surface of the trails is mainly grass and dirt sprinkled with pine needles, pine cones, twigs and small stones. Trail running shoes are recommended but not necessary.
Kids Fun Run - This non-competitive run is a 1/3 mile run on the trails at Pineland. They will start at the same start line as the 5K race & walk. They will then take a sharp turn at the first trail intersection to swing back around and come up the hill to the finish line. All finishers will receive a medal. This is not timed. Children of all ages are encouraged to participate. We encourage parents to accompany small children on the run.
Fundraising – You can raise additional funds to support the Cancer Community Center by personalizing your fundraising page today. Our goal this year is to raise over $110,000! All proceeds help the Cancer Community Center to provide free wellness classes and emotional support to Mainers affected by cancer. The Center is located in South Portland, Maine and provides one-to-one support across the state through The Maine Buddy Program.
All offline donations can be mailed to the Cancer Community Center at 778 Main St. South Portland, Maine 04106. Please be sure to reference the Fight Back Festival so we can credit your donations properly. All checks should be made out to the Cancer Community Center.
The Haley Cup - Established in 2012, this prize in honor of Tim Haley (1967-2012) goes to the top fundraising team at each Fight Back Festival. The Cancer Community Center benefited from Tim’s tireless commitment and infectious enthusiasm. We honor the winning team for sharing Tim’s passionate support of those affected by cancer.
