June 4, 2017 is National Cancer Survivors Day. During the month of June, we are revisiting some of the cancer survivor stories we’ve shared with you in the past and giving you an update on how each person is doing.

Scott Keysor’s story was shared on our blog in November of last year. Here’s the update he sent us.

This summer will be three years since my diagnosis. My health is good and all of my scans and marker tests continue to show no evidence of disease. With the support of family, loved ones, and the Cancer Community Center, I’ve managed embrace the challenges and opportunities the disease has provided me.

I’m serving the Maine Buddy Program as a trained volunteer.
